I read about this on another person' blog. I am a blog whore...
Anywho, there is this guy named Tom and he designs shoes. And for every pair of shoes you buy, he donates a pair of shoes to some kid in Africa or something who doesn't have any shoes.
Sadly the shoes only go up to a size 10 in women.. whatever.. but they have kids sizes. As soon as the girls ones get off back order.. apparently they are popular.. I am SO buying Kate a pair. They are cute.. and we will be saving some poor little kid's feet! Check it out!

Those are pretty cute. I checked out the website, the only thing that I am always leery about with things like this is...will they actually give a child a pair of shoes, or is this just a good marketing scam? Makes ya wonder doesn't it?

well a friend of mine that I go to church with is friends with a bunch of other cool/artsy girls.. that i don't actually know, but a lot of them blog. so i read their blog and have checked out a couple that they read. very cool stuff. a lot of stuff aimed at young moms etc. i can let you know the websites if you are interested.
I think I actually heard about this on Dateline, so I'm thinking it's legit. ??
