I would like to give a heart-felt "Thanks" and a "Hell yeah" to my friend and yours, Colleen Dustin. This wonderful gal is up to the challenge of taking the first official Rossitto/ Willets/ Carey family picture on Sunday. My brother-in-law John, is home from Iraq for a little over two weeks, and heads back on Tuesday. Colleen is graciously giving up some of her family time on HER WEEKEND OFF and is doing this kind gesture for us.
My Mom heard the new that the photo shoot would be happening on Sunday and just about cried she was so happy.
Get ready for some kisses on your feet this weekend and make sure to wear your cape, Colleen. You're pretty wonderful, SuperGirl!

What a great surprise for your mom! Can I ask, what are you all going to wear? My mom has a gift cert to Portrait Innovations (I know, they won't be as good as Colleen would do)and has been wanting all of us to go get a Family picture done, but we can't figure out what to wear!!
As Nici would say, "TRAITOR!!" Just kidding...he, he. ;)Colleen told us the darker the jeans the better, and that creams, navy blues, and browns would look good, as it's kind of hard to do adults in white. And I was wanting to do neutrals and nice-casual. I didn't want to be cheesey and all do white or something...I just wanted to coordinate. Oh, and whatever color Antonia is wearing, that Jay and I should wear something different since we'll be holding her and stuff. Good tips, huh?

Here's some more tips, bare feet-good, Husker Red-bad, solids-good, big stripes-bad, sweaters-good, sleeveless-bad(on adults) Matchy matchy- not my thing, complimentary colors-good. Portrait Innovaitions....hacktputtt (that's a spit) Just kidding, who gave it to her?

P.S. Why are you "Colleen" all of the sudden instead of "Jack and Leo's Mom"? Bad day with the boys was it? Did you disown them again? ;)

just as a side-note and comment to Erica's original comment....Just pick a color scheme ( not matchy matchy) and go with it. Go with Fall colors...now get it scheduled. I hear so many people end up not doing pictures because they couldn't figure out what to wear....WHO CARES....in a year your not going to like what you picked anyway, it'll be outdated and you''ll have to do it all over again! Just wear clothes (no patterns or words) GO!!!! ( was this a little harsh...please forgive, this is my job)
