The holidays were great! I am sad xmas music isn't on the radio anymore!
I can't wait for Bunko next Monday.. actually in a week. and New Years shall be grand. I need to get my xmas photos uploaded and then I will share.
What was everyone's favorite gift? I got myself a DVD Recorder.. have been taping shows, I will be transfering our home movies onto DVDs .. its grand!
I also got some gift cards - which are the gift that keeps on giving. speaking of that. my mom got my dad some jelly, and said she got him a year membership to the jelly of the month club. now THAT is the gift that keeps on giving. it was hilarious.

Is it 2007 yet??

First of all, I can't believe Christmas was here then gone, like that! In a blink of an eye! Now I just want to take down all of the decor and move into the new year. Did everyone have a nice holiday? I hope you all got exactly what you wanted. Lots of friends, family and food....blah....I am sick of big dinners and candy, sweets, and cookies! We had salad for dinner last night because we were both CRAVING healthy food. That was scary!

Why is it so funny when people fall down? This will always make me laugh. That along with the words boobies, fart, toot, doody etc.. Anyone else have any good words.. that no matter how old we get... they are funny. And they are usually the words we are trying to stop little kids from saying.

Purse Snatching

As soon as the holidays roll around you suddenly hear on the news to be looking out for purse snatchers and people mugging you the mall parking lots.. Has anyone ever seen this? I always think about it as I am shopping... wondering what to do. Do I hide my bags under my coat? Do I run like a mad woman to my car? Should I buy mase? I am always looking for lurkers in the parking lot. I also wonder what people find in those bags when they steal them. I wonder what they think when the bags are filled with something stupid, like ladies underwear and nylons.. or something dumb like that.

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a really nice thanksgiving this year. The weather was so wonderful that we did thanksgiving at the lake.. and ate outside on the deck! It was beautiful and the food was great. But i have decided that next year I am signing up to be a boy for thanksgiving.. then I too can sit on the couch all day and watch tv while the girls cook and clean up after.
Is this just my household? Just my brothers, dad, and husband? Anywoo, hope everyone had a great day and I am thankful for all of you.

They Say it's Your Birthday...

Happy Birthday Colleen!

What did everyone do when they were kids for halloween? a big thing at our house... and still is, is to make grilled cheese sandwiches and tomater soup to eat before we went out and hit the streets begging for candy. And then over the next week or two we would take a couple pieces in our lunches to school.

First off.. we had a work costume party/contest. and i didn't win. i was a little pissed that day at work. i even practiced my voice at home and everything.. but whatever. im over it now. :)
Second, yeah for Colleen's new baby! he is super duper cute. how are the t*ts doing lady? they hurt worse than last time.. or are they tougher this time around?
Where is everyone else on this thing? Colleen has a baby sucking on her and she still writes! Sheesh!

I would like to officially introduce Leo Thomas to the bloggers out there. He is a handsome little stud with soft pink skin, dark hair and blue eyes....the ladies are going nuts over him. By the way, no one was right, so I got to keep the name I wanted....thank God....I don't think I could have lived with myself if I named my son Jill.

So I am not quite the blogger than Jill is, as you can tell she hogs 85% of the blog space we all have...now I am thinking that the latest blogs are due to her crazy business at her new job....Yeah Jill! How is that going by the way...but anyways back to my point...I think the reason I don't blog much is that I can't ever remember how. It always takes me 15-20 mins to remember how to add a post...so I may just start addding comments to others posts and you'll have to read them that way. But anyways. So I went to Sam's today to buy some baby items that I like to buy in bulk and discount prices.. :)
Everytime I go to Sam's I am happy because of the deal they have - $1.50 for a hotdog and pop! Sometimes I get it.. other times I don't because I don't have time or don't want to spoil my dinner. But I always walk out of there thinking.. what a great deal! Whoever Sam is... he is a genious!!!

a.k.a. Bruce the MOOSE!!

We were going to name Trotter "Bruce" - should have - Bruce the Moose! Trotter's 10 mo. birthday is today! He's 90 lbs. and growing. With Brian in Canada this week, it has tested me as a single mother of a 90 lb. 10 mo. old. Not fun all the time! He requires more exercise than I alone can possibly give him...3 mile walk, after work, in the drizzle? Nope - still full of "it". Fetch in the back yard (thank GOD for the new fence) for an hour? Nope...where does the energy come from? And can I bottle it? Can't wait for Brian to get home Sunday! I attached pics of "then" and "now" (actually this was taken last month when he was 83 lbs)...

food love

This weekend my family went to Kobe's for dinner for my sister's birthday(we missed you Jess). We had a great time and I was instantly in a good mood after dinner and for the rest of the night. I think that place is so great and everyone that is there is having a good time. Today for lunch I had the leftovers from dinner that night and was happy again, just thinking of the fun we had at dinner. It is amazing the feelings and memories that food can provoke. Kobes and Genji are definitly those kind of places that make you happy. I have several resteraunts that immediatly make me happy as soon as I walk in the door. Because I know the food will be good and I love the atmosphere. It is even better to be there with people you love and have fun with. So anyways, just was thinking about that and how interesting that is.

Question: Do you think fat people are happier.. because they eat so much? Or just happy at first, but when they become morbidly obese.. then they get sad? Ok.. never mind.

JESUS the Praying Mantis....

This was Jill's buddy Thursday 8/24/06. She named him Jesus-the Praying Mantis...or was it Moses? Either way he grossed me out. These pictures probably don't portray the SIZE of this monstrosity...he was 6 inches, easy, with a triangle, alien like head that swung around to check you out as you walked up to the front door.

I've got poop too...

So I haven't been "on here" for forever. And the only POOP story I have is from about three years ago. I am not a mom, but I am an aunt...So we were staying at a hotel, some vacation my sister's family and I were on...not remembering where...but we were swimming in the hotel pool with my 2 year old neice and my 7 year old nephew. I was hanging on to my neice, and she says "I HAVE TO GO PEE!" So my sister nominated me to take this tot to the potty. I took her to the girls room and she hustled, tearing off the wet bottoms of her bikini, swimmer and all - and a little turd dropped out. No biggy, I sat her on the toilet as I grabbed TP to pick it up off the floor. When she was "done" she needed help wiping. (remember that I am in a swimsuit too...and that I am only an aunt) I had no problem with this either, this was "expected". However, the next move was not. As I faced her sitting on the pot with TP in hand, she stuck her head between my knees and wrapped her arms around to the back of my legs. As I wiped her poopy butt, I got laughing so hard that tears started coming down my face. My sister likes to call that "mommy training 101".

Good poop story!

So I have a really gross but super funny poop story. So last week Eliana and I and our dog Zuko were playing in the living room. For those of you who know our dog, he is obsessed with his ball. So I throw it randomly for him so he will leave me alone. All of a sudden he starting acting sort of strange and was hiding as if he was scard of something. I tried to figure out what was wrong but I couldn't so I went on to play with Eliana. We play this game where I chase her around on my hands and knees and she thinks it is pretty funny. So she takes off back towards her bedroom with me following close behind. When I get to her room I see her holding two black things in her hands. My exact words were "oh shit!" And that was literally!! Zuko had decided he was having too much fun to stop and go outside so he decided to do his business in Eliana's room!! I was so grossed out, I grabed her hands and started to shake them so she would let go and then ran her to the bathroom where we scrubed and scrubed and scrubed her hands. It was quite an experience!

We are back from the Lake. It was fun, not super relaxing with a baby.. but hey, it will be more fun next year. Kate ate tons of sand, so that was good. I haven't seen any in her diaper and i am wondering where it went? hmmm.

Last night when I was getting ready for bed I plucked my eyebrows and started to wonder why does my nose run and get stuffed up everytime i do this? Does anyone know?

So we FINALLY have broke ground on our house!! We have gone out there everyday since it started!! It is pretty exciting, I told Cory he better get another job to cover the gas money from me going out there everyday!!

Little Swimmers Diapers do NOT hold poop good

Ok. So we went to church today and I packed up Kate's diaper bag and we dropped her off at the nursery. Picked her up after church, went home and she went to sleep. She wakes up, I'm holding her while i make her a bottle and i notice that her back and butt are a little wet.... hmm.. so i put the bottle down, which makes her pissed, and lay her down to change her diaper. i take off her shorts and notice smooshy poop down her leg and the notice that she is wearing a Little Swimmers diaper.. there must have been one in the diaper bag, along with the 2 other NORMAL diapers... why they put that on her i dont know.. but let me tell you... they don't hold mooshy poop in very well.. she had a big chunk in her onesie too. how nice. .. oh yeah. i remember there was a BOY working in the nursery too.. he must have done it. :)
