Purse Snatching
As soon as the holidays roll around you suddenly hear on the news to be looking out for purse snatchers and people mugging you the mall parking lots.. Has anyone ever seen this? I always think about it as I am shopping... wondering what to do. Do I hide my bags under my coat? Do I run like a mad woman to my car? Should I buy mase? I am always looking for lurkers in the parking lot. I also wonder what people find in those bags when they steal them. I wonder what they think when the bags are filled with something stupid, like ladies underwear and nylons.. or something dumb like that.

This is deep.......I think about it too, as well as all those e-mails you get warning you about the parking lots...like someone needing a ride to their car, or helping you with your bags and then they shove you in your trunk and take off.....I think the scariest is at the gas station, being careful to check your car if you run in to pay, etc...someone could hide in your car and if you take off, your taking some psycho with!!!! be careful ladies! Don't fall for stupid crap!
OH MY GOSH! I always think about that. I remember watching the movie Cape Fear when I was younger and the guy holds on to the bottom of the car and they drive away and don't know he is there. I ALWAYS find myself looking in the back part of my jeep, or other people's cars to see if someone, somehow, got in there and is waiting for you...
I freaked myself out the other day with a situation like this. I had Eliana in the truck and had already backed out of the garage when I realized that I had forgotten somthing. I put the car in park and ran into the house leaving her in there. I was only gone for a minute or two, but it dawned on me that someone could have so easily jumped into my car and drove off with my baby!! I hate to think that those people are doing these things in our neck of the woods, but they are. Our neighbor had their car stollen out of their garage. I will never do that again!
Oh, I do that often...it's hard to remember EVERYTHING when you've got kids!
