Pay it Forward
Has anyone ever been in the drive through line and told the person at the counter you want to pay for the person's food behind you? My mom did it once a couple months ago.. I think it is so cool. I think I am going to do it. I was reading in Real Simple to do it in the grocery store as well. If someone gets behind you in line and they only have one thing, offer to let them go in front of you and tell the cashier to put the item on your bill.. How nice. :) I think it would make me cry. :)

I don't know what I would do if someone did that for me! What a generous thing! I love the drive through - but be careful...knowing my luck they would have ordered like 10 supersized value meals and I would owe like $374.00.
I LOVE the grocery store idea though. I hate it when I am that girl with one item that I tried to quick run in and buy, but then get stuck in line. I may try that sometime. ;)
And I would probably cry too, Jill...
Jill, are you too wonderful?! I also like to sometimes give the remainder of a gift card or if I actually have cash and have some change to the next person in line. That's fun. Jay and I tried to do it a lot during Christmas. Spread the cheer, baby!
